While Violette was in Fuel Systems Repair
in the 43 MXS at Pope AFB he was an airman that new troops
could look up to. When a supervisor needed something done,
and done quick and efficiently, they went to Violette. When
Violette was not working on an aircraft he was either training
himself to further learn the aircraft or he was training
troops in upgrade training.
Not only was Violette a hard worker, he also
was a people person. Anytime anyone had a problem or needed
someone to talk to, they went to Violette for his advice.
If you needed help, Violette was the first person to drop
what he was doing, if it wasn't important or critical, and
do everything he can to help you out. Up until the day he
left the military, Michael Violette was very critical to
our shop's production rate.
